We're known for baking from scratch just like you do at home. All of our products are made with premium ingredients using real butter, whole eggs, unbleached flour and real sugar without ever using trans fats. We're passionate about baking which is why we never use mixes and we pay attention to the details decorating and finishing our cakes and cupcakes by hand and hand dip our madeleines. Treat yourself to something special. You'll see and taste the difference.
Can I order Just Desserts on-line?
No, Just Desserts does not provide direct-to-consumer sales. Ask for us at your local in-store bakery department.
Does Just Desserts wholesale any products?
Yes, Just Desserts has a wholesale program for national distribution. Please call Sales at 510-567-2900 for more information including our new Food Service line.
Which items contain nuts?
Nuts are added to the following products: Carrot Cakes, Chocolate Peanut Crème Cake, Lemon Nut Crunch Cake and many seasonal and holiday items.
We cannot guarantee any of our products being nut and nut oil-free. Due to the nature of our large commercial kitchen, cross-contamination of nuts may occur without our knowledge. If you have ANY further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Do you make sugar-free or low-fat products?
At this time, all of our other premium desserts contain sugar and butter.
Are any of your products vegan?
No, all products contain eggs and/or egg whites.
Are your products gluten free?
No, all of our products contain wheat and wheat flour.
Do any of your products contain alcohol?
No, our products are alcohol-free.
What kind of frosting do you make?
We make delicious cream cheese and butter cream frostings in a variety of flavors including a dark velvety fudge frosting and, a chocolate ganache couverture.
How long will your products keep?
Our premium frosted desserts can be left at room temperature for 9- days (frosted cakes, frosted cupcakes) and 14 days for our bite size, snacks, madeleine cookies and unfrosted cakes as long as they are stored in the original packaging or under cake domes. We recommend you serve them at room temperature to ensure the best flavor experience. Our products can be refrigerated and will last a bit longer. You may also re-freeze our products, however the more times our products are re-frozen, the more the integrity of the product is at risk. Because we don't use any preservatives, we recommend products be stored properly to maintain freshness.
