Silver Finalist at the 2008 NASFT SOFI Awards Competition

The National Association for Specialty Food Trade, Inc. (NASFT) and Specialty Food Magazine have announced the finalists for the 2008 Specialty Food Awards and Just Desserts was honored with a Silver Statue.

This is the second year in a row Just Desserts has won in the Outstanding Baked Good, Baking Ingredient or Cereal category – this time for its brand new Grab n’ Go 2-Pack Brownie Bites.

“We’re very honored to have received this award and are happy to be part of this elite group of winners” says Mani Niall, Executive Chef.

“It is amazing that only a small percent of all 1,500 submissions became finalists. We’ve worked very hard for this and believe our Grab n’ Go 2-Pack Brownie Bites deserve the recognition”

Thirty-Two categories were judged by professionals including specialty food retailers, supermarket buyers, natural food merchants, chefs and culinary educators — they tasted and/or analyzed nearly 2,900 products from 1,500 total entries.
